Langley Street 23 game rules

Game

• 5 reels, 5 rows, spinning reels, 35 paylines.
• Minimum bet €0.20, maximum bet €100.00. Each bet is 100 coins.
• Wins begin on the first leftmost reel and pay left to right on consecutive reels. No gaps. Only the longest combination per active payline is paid. An active payline is the longest winning symbol combination.
• A round starts at the selected bet when the player hits Spin. Auto Spin can play multiple rounds. Hold Spin or use Auto Spin to set the count.
• Winnings follow the paytable and can be shown in currency or coins (Settings).
• Two modes: Normal and Bonus (bonus spins).
• Wild substitutes for any symbol except bonus, multiplier adder and VHS tape. Wilds may land with a multiplier. A payline of all wilds pays as the highest-value symbol.
• Wild, Expanding Wild and Mystery may have a multiplier: Wild 2×, 3×, 5×, 8×, 10×, 15×, 20×, 25×, 50× or 100×. Expanding Wild and Mystery: 2×–10×, 15×, 20×, 25×, 50× or 100×.

Locked features and VHS tapes

• Four features start locked: mystery, expanding wild, cloning wild and surveillance TV.
• VHS tapes land only on reel 5 and are added to the TV. Surveillance/CRT state is kept between rounds for each bet level.
• Tapes cannot land during re-spins. There are no tapes in bonus games.
• Feature-symbol and bonus-trigger probabilities change with how many tapes have been collected.
• 6 tapes: mystery unlocked; mystery re-spin with at least 1 guaranteed mystery. Mysteries reveal the same payout or wild and may have a multiplier. After unlock, each spin may turn at least one payout symbol type into mysteries; they all become the same chosen symbol.
• 12 tapes: expanding wild unlocked; expanding-wild re-spin with at least 1 guaranteed expanding wild. It covers the reel and has two multiplier values; one is chosen after all reels land. Multipliers on the same reel are added. Expanding wild substitutes like wild (not bonus, adder, VHS).
• 18 tapes: cloning wild unlocked; cloning re-spin with at least 1 guaranteed cloning wild. Lands on reels 2–5. Creates a wild in its position and the adjacent left cell. Its multiplier (if any) applies to the new wilds. Cloning over a wild or expanding wild adds its multiplier, or +1 if it has none. Cloning over a mystery that already turned into a payout symbol turns it wild and adds any multiplier. Each spin may turn at least one payout type into cloning wilds on reels 2–5.
• 24 tapes: surveillance TV replaces the CRT; a re-spin with a guaranteed bonus trigger is awarded. The TV has 4 screens, each paired with a matching tape. A tape may light part of its image, collect a duplicate (nothing happens), or fill the rest immediately. Each collected tape has an equal chance to trigger the matching feature. Completing top left → mystery re-spin; top right → expanding wild re-spin; bottom left → cloning wild re-spin; bottom right → re-spin with guaranteed bonus trigger.
• Unlocked progression and TV state persist between rounds per bet level.

Bonus game

• Three or more bonus symbols trigger the bonus when there are no more winning combinations in view.
• 3 symbols → 8 spins; 4 → 10; 5 → 12.
• All feature symbols are unlocked. No VHS tapes.
• Before spins, either sticky mystery or sticky wild mode is awarded.
• Sticky wild: all wild and expanding wild symbols persist. Multiplier adder increases or adds a multiplier to one or more wild or expanding wild symbols.
• Sticky mystery: all mystery symbols persist and become a symbol each spin. Adder targets mysteries.
• In both modes the adder may increase the bonus counter by +2 spins.
• Adder amounts: 1×, 2×, 3×, 5×, 10×, 15×, 20×, 25×. It may target multiple symbols.

Payout, RTP, malfunction

• Winnings are paid at the end of a game round.
• Maximum total win in a round is capped at 10,000× the placed bet. The round ends immediately at the cap; wins so far are paid.
• Bets cannot be changed during a round.
• Theoretical RTP is 96.0%.
• In the event of malfunction all bets and wins are void.

• Project: Memory Wipe — at least 2 expanding wilds, 200× bet. Bonus cannot trigger.
• Bonus — guaranteed bonus entry, 100× bet.
• The Langley Files — cloning wild spin, mystery spin, expanding wild spin or bonus trigger, 25× bet.
• Mega Hunt — higher chance to trigger bonus, 5× bet.
• Bonus Hunt — high chance to trigger bonus, 2.5× bet.
