How to play Langley Street 23

Bet, spin, collect tapes, then let wilds, mysteries and the sticky bonus do the heavy lifting. Legal wording lives on the Rules page; this is the practical walkthrough.

Langley Street 23 X-iter and expanding wilds

The basics

  1. Set a stake from €0.20 to €100. Each bet is 100 coins. VHS progress is stored separately for each bet level.
  2. Press Spin, or hold Spin / use Auto Spin for a batch of rounds.
  3. Wins start on the leftmost reel and pay left to right on consecutive reels. Gaps break the line. Only the longest win on an active payline is paid.
  4. Payouts follow the paytable. You can show wins in currency or coins in Settings.
  5. A round ends when there are no more wins in view — or immediately if the 10,000× cap is reached.

Pay symbols

High symbols are conspiracy icons. Lows are torn-paper ranks. Values below are for 5 / 4 / 3 of a kind on a line (times bet).

Wilds and specials

The wild (agent with a “W” badge) substitutes for everything except Bonus, Multiplier Adder and VHS. A line of all wilds pays as the highest symbol (UFO). Wild, Expanding Wild and Mystery can land with a multiplier.

  • Wild: ×2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100
  • Expanding / Mystery: ×2–×10, then 15, 20, 25, 50, 100

When an expanding wild covers a reel it shows two multipliers; after all reels stop, one value wins the “fight”. Extra multipliers on that reel are added. Cloning wilds on reels 2–5 create a wild on themselves and one cell left. If they clone onto a wild/expanding wild they add their multiplier (or +1 if they have none). Cloning a revealed mystery turns it wild.

Unlocking the four features

Start locked: Mystery, Expanding Wild, Cloning Wild, Surveillance TV. Tapes only on reel 5. Feature and bonus odds change as you collect more tapes.

  1. 6 tapes — Mystery. Awarded mystery respin (at least one mystery). After that, any spin can turn a pay type into mysteries that all reveal the same symbol.
  2. 12 tapes — Expanding wild. Awarded expanding-wild respin.
  3. 18 tapes — Cloning wild. Awarded cloning respin. Later, a pay type on reels 2–5 can become cloning wilds for that spin.
  4. 24 tapes — Surveillance TV replaces the CRT. Awarded respin with a guaranteed bonus trigger. Four screens fill from matching tapes. Completing a screen awards mystery / expanding / cloning / bonus-trigger respin, then the screen can cycle again.

Bonus and X-iter

3 / 4 / 5 Bonus symbols → 8 / 10 / 12 spins. All features on. No tapes. Random mode: Sticky Mystery or Sticky Wild. Multiplier Adder hits one or more sticky symbols (or can add +2 spins).

X-iter is base-game only: Bonus Hunt 2.5×, Mega Hunt 5×, The Langley Files 25×, Bonus 100×, Project: Memory Wipe 200× (at least two expanding wilds, no bonus).
